About Me

Welcome to Held in Mind Therapy. I'm Jodie, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with degrees in both social work and psychology. With a deep commitment to supporting women on their journey towards healing, I specialise in supporting women navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, and grief and loss.

Drawing from my extensive training and education, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the factors that influence our wellbeing. I am dedicated to continuous learning and have completed training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

At Held in Mind Therapy, my approach is strengths-based and rooted in authenticity and genuine care. I believe in creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions and experiences safely. I am deeply curious about the broader systems in which individuals exist, including their relationships, family dynamics, and community connections.

My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where women can cultivate resilience, find inner strength, and discover their path to healing. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey, offering guidance, support, and unwavering compassion.

I invite you to reach out and begin your journey towards healing with Held in Mind Therapy.
